PDI sits inside the Open Property Data Association alongside HM Land Registry, the Conveyancing Association, LSSA and the wider Smart Property Data Trust Framework ecosystem. Member status is our commitment to shared standards, interoperability and faster, safer UK property transactions.
The Open Property Data Association is a UK industry body that brings together conveyancers, lenders, surveyors, registries and PropTech firms to agree common standards for property data. Its goals are practical: cut transaction times, reduce fall-throughs and let consumers reuse trusted data across the journey from listing to completion.
PDI’s membership signals that our APIs, property packs and AI agents are built around the same data definitions, lifecycle and governance principles the wider market is converging on — including BASPI v5 (Buyers and Sellers Property Information) and PDTF v3.5.0 (Property Data Trust Framework).
In short: when you consume PDI data, you consume it on terms your conveyancing partners, lenders and regulators already understand. That is what turns “data” into transaction-ready intelligence.

Joining OPDA was a deliberate choice. We wanted PDI’s data to be useful not just inside one product, but across the whole UK transaction stack — from a buyer’s first appraisal, through conveyancing and lending, into completion and beyond. Open, governed data is the only way that scales.
OPDA is chaired by Maria Harris, one of the most recognised voices in UK property data and a long-standing advocate for open, interoperable standards across conveyancing and lending. Her leadership — alongside HM Land Registry, the Conveyancing Association and other members — gives PDI’s membership real weight.

Open, trusted property data is the foundation for a faster, fairer UK property market — one where consumers, conveyancers and lenders all work from the same source of truth.
OPDA membership sits alongside PDI’s wider standards alignment, cohort selection and government / regulator-facing engagement. Together, these are the signals enterprise buyers, lenders and large agencies look for.

Active PropTech member — contributing to UK property data standards and interoperability.
Aligned with the SPDTF governance model for trusted, reusable property data across the transaction.

Selected as 1 of 8 from 700+ applicants for the 2026 PwC Scale PropTech cohort.
PDI packs are built around the BASPI v5 dataset and PDTF v3.5.0 lifecycle — ready for conveyancers and lenders.
Why this matters together. OPDA membership reflects PDI’s commitment to open property data standards. SPDTF and BASPI / PDTF alignment makes PDI data ingestible by the firms shaping the UK transaction stack. PwC Scale validates the technology and team. Held together, they describe a PropTech the UK property industry’s most serious institutions are willing to publicly back.
The PDI × OPDA announcement was reported across UK financial and property trade press.

BASPI v5 + PDTF v3.5.0 alignment means conveyancers, lenders and surveyors can consume PDI data with no bespoke onboarding. Less integration overhead, fewer re-keys, faster transactions.
Procurement teams and risk committees can tick “OPDA-member supplier, SPDTF-aligned, PwC-cohort selected” in a single line — instead of explaining a niche PropTech vendor from scratch.
As BASPI and PDTF evolve, our APIs evolve with them. You’re not locked into a proprietary schema — you’re working with the schema the UK market is converging on.
